Nurse Nearby is a coalition of independent contract nurses with their own specific skills based on their career path that are now available to you at home, no matter what stage of life you are in. Nurse Nearby is a response to a changing society where isolation and loneliness present a new need for care at home. There are over 6 million nurses in the US alone. There is likely one in your neighborhood, whether you know them or not. Nurse Nearby is a platform to connect you, the client and them, the professional, cutting out the middleman and giving you access to their kindness, compassion and expertise.
What we do for nurses
We recognize the sovereignty of the healer and the healee relationship and intend to restore that sovereignty between two people. We believe that healing is a God given right that no institution can give or take away. We aim to restore nursing to all of its true elements, using modalities within our scope of practice that are not currently utilizable inside the sterile institutions we are employed by. We are facilitators of healing, carrying out the essential tasks and sharing our experience and wisdom to continue the healing process at home, where people have always healed best. This is restoring Natural Order, and that is exactly what health is.
